Relax, cruise away from the pressures of work and phone for a few hours, on board one of our Day Boats. Experience life at the leisurely pace of four miles per hour. These boats must be booked in advance. We also offer hourly hire Electric Boats and Pedalo’s from Easter to the end of September. Prices are subject to change. Please Note: All children under 16 years of age must wear a bouyancy aid which we will supply and fit free of charge for the duration of hire.

As a Supplier of partially or fully rebated fuels LVBC is approved by HMRC as a registered dealer in controlled oil.

The Lee Valley Boat Centre is a small, friendly business with the intention of giving everyone the chance of experiencing the River Lee. From electric powered boats, to small pedalos for up to 4 persons we aim to provide a means to travel along the River Lee at an affordable cost. The boats are available from the boat centre in Broxbourne. In the interests of safety, all children under the age of 16 years will have to wear a buoyancy aid which we supply and fit free of charge prior to boarding one of our boats . Dogs / pets are permitted on our day boats but unfortunately not on any of our small boats (electric or pedalos) . 					  Me and my family of 3 hired mr otter for the day and we all thoroughly enjoyed it the boat was well equipped with on board wc, gas hob,hot and... read more cold water. We have done boating holidays before but never on a canal. The staff showed us how to use the locks which I was worried about having not used them before.

Just a shame they don’t do holidays as we would 100% do it

Lots of great facilities on board.

Such a wonderful way to unwind and enjoy a day on the river.
